2013 Web Design 1 iBlog Checklist


1. Write a post about a few customizable themes available for your blog. Explain features you have added to your blog: colours, images, layout, header images, etc. Refer again to the basic elements of design when describing the look and function of your active theme. Identify content related features: titles, summaries, etc that contribute to effective web design and viewer satisfaction.

2. Identify design related features of your site: text, colour, navigation, organization, menus, interconnectivity. Identify basic features of web usability, readability, accessibility. Identify and discuss a few examples of good and poor web design. Enable plugins/themes to make your site smart phone friendly.

3. Bookmark a list of web design sites for supporting web designers.

4. Incorporate many of the following into your site: site map, gallery, movie review page, jetpack install, contact form, enable a variety of plugins, embed an image, embed youtube & TED video, blogroll widget, tag cloud, gravatar, tagline, jquery, background images, widgets.
